Energy Dashboards in Halifax Schools

Way to go Prince Andrew High School and the Halifax School Board for beginning the installation of power monitoring systems to show the consumption of energy. For us visual learners, the television type monitor easily shows how much water is used by comparing it to how many bath tubs could be filled and how many pizzas could be baked with the electricity consumed. Thank you to the Lights Off Green On energy efficiency campaign for installing the energy dashboards. When pedal powered generators begin being installed in the classrooms, offices and gyms, to run LCD projectors, laptops and other electrical devices, we will see not only the power consumption go down even further, but the fitness and health of the students will go up.
