The Full Belly Project Pedals Up Power for the People

I love what these people are doing for others by equipping people with pedal power devices so they can be more efficient farmers and take care of themselves. The Full Belly Project is a “non-profit organization dedicated to empowering people in rural communities”.

According to their website, “two human legs have eight times the power of one human arm”. They have harnessed that human power and created the Pedal Platform to which attachments can be fitted for doing simple farming chores like shelling nuts, using the Universal Nut Sheller.

They have also developed the Rocker Water Pump powered by simply rocking back and forth on the platform.

Be sure to check out more of The Full Belly Project products helping to make people self sufficient.
Thank you to non-profits like these who are truly making a difference in people’s lives.
