Pedaling in the Slipstream

Whether you are pedaling a bike or simply living your life, riding in the slipstream is the best place to be. The slipstream is the low resistance area located in the space directly behind another cyclist in a bike race. The effort to keep up speed is greatly reduced when you are so close behind the rider in front of you. What better place to be these days? As it says in the Anglican Journal, “keep in the slipstream of God”. Unlike a bike race where people like to be first, I am content to be tucked in close behind, with Jesus in the lead.
