“Better to wear out than rust out,” Jack LaLanne

Jack LaLanne died January 23, 2011 at the age of 96. He was an advocate for healthy living. In his book, Fiscal Fitness, written with Matthew Reddick, he gives wonderful advice about getting fit, even for those who think they have let it all hang out for far too, long. There are exercises that you can do while sitting reading this and suggestions for simple healthy meals. We do not need to be fit for the next Olympics, just fit to be healthy and happy. Start with a walk around the block or maybe just around the house with whomever is near you or go alone, breathe happily and be thankful.
